When a person convicted of a crime has been placed on community control or probation and has served a portion of their sentence, an attorney may be able to obtain early termination of the sentence. However, certain requirements must be met. First, the person must have completed all special conditions of their sentence such as community service hours, court costs, and classes. Second, at least one-half of the sentence must have been served. For example, if a person is ordered to serve two years' probation, after one year and completion of all probation conditions, an attorney may convince the judge to end their sentence early.
If you believe that you or a loved one may be entitled to request an early termination of your sentence, please contact Attorney Marc Consalo for a consultation so he can review your case advise you on your options and opportunities.
